Governor extends order allowing for 2-month prescription refills
The amended order now runs through May 19.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has extended a previous order that allows patients to refill prescriptions for up to two months at a time.
The order also requires insurance companies that cover prescriptions to cover the longer time period.
Finally, the order allows pharmacies from other states that are in good standing to conduct business in Michigan.
