Health Dept. opens new specimen collection site

Specimen testing still slowed by statewide testing backlog.

The Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department headquarters will begin to collect specimens from those with doctor’s orders for COVID-19 testing starting Wednesday.

In a statement, the department announced two new deaths from the virus in the county, bringing the total to five.
