Kalamazoo County coronavirus cases double in one week

Kalamazoo County now has a total of 201 positive cases and 10 deaths.

One week ago, on April 14, the number of people who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Kalamazoo County was 96. Today the number has more than doubled.

County officials reported the number of cases on Tuesday as 201 with ten reported deaths from the virus.

Testing capabilities in the county have been ramped up within the last week, according to a report on MLive. That has lead to an influx of positive tests matching what health officials previously predicted.
