Kalamazoo organizations waive rent for the month of April for tenants
The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has caused millions of people to lose their jobs many unsure how they’ll cover their bills, but some Kalamazoo organizations are helping tenants by waiving rent for April 2020.
Kalamazoo Collective Housing and the Vine Neighborhood Association are stepping up, WWMT reports. Both organizations hope their actions will inspire West Michigan landlords to be flexible and work with their tenants who may be struggling to make ends meet.
