Looking for PPE? Look no further than Michigan

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce has launched a webpage to connect buyers with Michigan companies making Personal Protective Equipment.

With hospitals, businesses, and people scrambling to find Personal Protective Equipment, some companies in Michigan are switching over to manufacturing these high demand supplies.

And the Michigan Chamber of Commerce has set up a new webpage to help buyers connect with those businesses.

The list includes the names and contact information of businesses across the state making and selling PPE including face masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. The Chamber makes no guarantee about availability.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Tuesday that they are planning to reopen segments of the state’s economy in the coming weeks. People going back to work will be required to use PPE in public settings, which will make scarce resources even harder to find.

The Chamber hopes buyers will turn first to Michigan-based businesses when making their purchases.
