Patients at 1 in 3 Michigan nursing homes have coronavirus, records show

More than 2,100 nursing home residents have contracted COVID-19.

Michigan released records on Friday confirming fears that the coronavirus is raging in state nursing homes, with 2,108 confirmed cases. That includes 18 confirmed cases in Kalamazoo County.

However, those numbers are likely low since they don’t include nursing home patients who have recovered or have already died. That is according to a report in Bridge Magazine.
