State Theatre to host “virtual prom”

Event will stream live on Facebook Saturday, April 25.

Area seniors have had to give up on prom due to the statewide closure of schools. However, Kalamazoo’s State Theatre is stepping in to fill the void.

The theater in downtown Kalamazoo will host a “virtual prom” Saturday evening via Facebook Live. The event will go on from 8 to 9:30pm and feature live music from DJ SicMusiq.
