Wary of hospitals during coronavirus, some Michigan moms turn to midwives
People are still having babies during the pandemic, but not everybody's going to the hospital.

As the coronavirus strengthens its foothold in Michigan hospitals, midwives say they are perfectly positioned to help new moms fearful of the contagion, according to Bridge Magazine.
Unfortunately, many insurers won’t cover the services of midwives meaning only those with money can afford to avoid hospitals.
