Secretary of State offices to reopen June 1

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced Thursday that Secretary of State offices will reopen June 1.

All 131 branches in the state will be open by appointment only from 9am to 5pm weekdays, but they will only be providing services that can’t be handled online.

That includes title transfers, driver testing, and seasonal commercial vehicle renewal.

Those visiting the SOS offices will be required to wear a face mask and will have to wait outside until their appointment time.
