Air Zoo to reopen next week to members

The Air Zoo, closed since March, will reopen to the general public in July.

The Air Zoo, closed since the state-ordered shutdown on March 13, announced they will reopen to current members on June 29, and to the general public on July 13.

In a post on its website, the Air Zoo said they are instituting measures to keep their staff and visitors safe. That includes requiring visitors to wear face masks and limiting the number of people in the building at one time.

“We are committed to fulfilling our mission in a manner that places the safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers and guests at highest priority,” reads the post.

They’ll also have limited hours. Visitors will have to pick to visit either in the morning or afternoon and staff will sanitize the facilities in between. Mondays will be kept open for vulnerable populations.
