The 65-year-old business will shut for good after selling off its inventory over the next month or two.

Lee’s Adventure Sports will close its doors forever later this summer.

The 65-year-old staple of the Kalamazoo retail scene has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, though the store owner said that was not the only reason for the decision.

Skip Lee told MLive that COVID-19 “plays a part” in the store’s closure, though it’s also the result of a “larger number of things.”
