Michigan hits new low in COVID-19 deaths
On Sunday, the number of coronavirus deaths in Michigan reached its lowest since before the stay-at-home order.
The State of Michigan on Sunday reported that four more people had died from COVID-19. That’s the lowest number of deaths of the coronavirus since before Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued her stay-at-home order on March 24.
State health officials also reported that just 2.4 percent of all coronavirus tests came back positive, the lowest level ever reported, according to an article in Bridge Magazine.
The state reported just 121 new cases of the virus on Sunday.
