Michigan passes 75K confirmed coronavirus cases
With 523 new cases confirmed Wednesday, the state now has an average of 579 new cases per day.
With 523 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, the state of Michigan surpassed 75,000 confirmed infections since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in March.
The state officially has had 75,248 confirmed cases of the virus with another 8,482 probable cases.
The state’s seven day moving average continues to rise with 579 new cases reported per day. That’s up from 566 a week ago.
Meanwhile, new deaths attributable to the virus remain low with six reported Wednesday.
