768 new COVID cases reported Sunday
State health officials reported 768 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. The state reported 953 new cases Saturday. The seven day moving average is 581 new cases per day.
High cases counts over the weekend are being blamed on a data collection error on Friday.
The state reported four deaths related to the coronavirus Sunday and three Saturday. Another eight deaths were discovered during a record review.
Kalamazoo County reported six new cases on Friday and none on Thursday. The county only releases numbers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
