Kalamazoo Mayor tests positive for COVID

Kalamazoo Mayor David Anderson is the latest city official to announce he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Anderson made the announcement on Tuesday.

“I have always followed the guidance of our public health officials, but still this week I learned that I have tested positive for COVID-19,” he tweeted.
He said his stymptoms are mild and he is self-isolating until medical professionals say he can go back to work.
City Manager Jim Ritsema announced he had contracted the coronavirus in October. Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Chief Vernon Coakley tested positive in December.
