KRESA superintendent released from hospital after bout of COVID

The head of Kalamazoo County's regional school district was hospitalized for three days.

The head of the Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Area is home from the hospital and recovering from COVID-19.

KRESA Superintendent Dave Campbell was released on Wednesday after three days in the hospital being treated for the coronavirus.

A spokesperson for KRESA said Campbell became ill two weeks ago, on January 7. The spokesperson said he was hospitalized on Monday as a precaution and not due to the severity of his illness.
