Salvation Army vaccine clinic planned for Tuesday

The Family Health Center is teaming up with the Salvation Army to hold a COVID-19 vaccination event on Tuesday in Kalamazoo. The clinic will be held at the Salvation Army’s main office on Burdick St.
It will be the first major push using the new Johnson & Johnson vaccine that was approved for emergency use last month. The J&J vaccine is notable because it only requires one shot for full immunity.
Vaccines will only be provided to people who are eligible at the moment. That includes people age 50 and older and people 18 and older with a medical condition.
People interested should call (269) 344-6119 on Monday to register.
