The Gilmore announces vaccine, mask policies

The upcoming Rising Stars series will feature in-person and virtual performances.

The Gilmore’s Rising Stars Series is returning to in-person performances next month, and with it will be safety precautions meant to keep COVID-19 from spreading.

The Rising Stars Series regularly features up-and-coming pianists who go on to great things. The Gilmore hopes one of those things won’t be COVID. That’s why the organization will require all concert attendees be fully vaccinated.

“We are joining with many cultural venues nationwide in the effort to combat Covid-19,” reads a statement on the organization’s website. “Unvaccinated individuals, including children under the age of 12 who aren’t currently eligible, will not be admitted to Rising Stars Series concerts.”

The same rules will apply to everyone involved in the concert, including the artists themselves. The Gilmore is also requiring attendees be masked while in the event venues.
